Un-QUIET BONES & WATERS

Bones tell stories... Arizona's deserts are haunted and enchanted by the remains of those who travelled carrying only their dreams, escaping their pasts, pursuing possibilities.  Bones and the atmosphere of spirits that surround them. Painted while in residence at Kingman ArtHub International Artist Residency AZ .

Water records our past and restores.... The second group of paintings below was inspired by a pilgrimage to deliver supplies to the oil pipeline resisters in North Dakota as part of the Water is Life Campaign. Bones and water mingle in these images.
